The University of Macau (UM) will host the World Universities Public Speaking Invitational Championship 2026 on 28 and 29 August in celebration of its 45th anniversary.
The championship will take place at the UM University Hall (N2), bringing together outstanding students from 26 leading universities around the world, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, University of Oxford, Stanford University and Harvard University, according to UM.
The championship aims to promote intercultural exchange and showcase students’ communication skills, critical thinking and global perspectives through English public speaking.
