The Government Headquarters Open Day sessions will this year be held on Saturday, 10 October, and Sunday, 11 October, from 9 am to 6 pm, according to the Government Information Bureau (GCS).
The theme of this year’s floral arrangements for the Open Day sessions is “Nature in Harmony – A Harmonious Macao”, with the displays featuring over 20 varieties of flower, all in full bloom.
The Macau SAR Government Headquarters is on Avenida da Praia Grande.
During the Open Day, the public shall use the Travessa do Paiva entrance at the right-hand side of the Protocol Palace as visitors face the front of the main building.
Once in the grounds, visitors should follow a designated route, which includes stops at the Multi-purpose Room and the Lotus Room on the ground floor. Via the marble staircase to the first floor, visitors can also explore the Grand Hall, Green Hall, Yellow Hall and the Blue Hall.
Visitors will be able to tour the garden, starting at the lotus pond, where there will be large floral arrangements and decorations providing locations for photographs.
There will also be live music performances by the Macao Police Band and students of the Macao Conservatory.
