Pyrotex Fireworks Ltd. from the United Kingdom has won the 33rd Macao International Fireworks Display Contest, while Platinum Fireworks, Inc (Philippines) and Dancing Fireworks Group (China) came second and third, respectively, in the competition that concluded with a prize-giving ceremony on 11 October.
Held since 1989, the Macao International Fireworks Display Contest has developed into one of Macau’s prestigious events. Over the years, top notch fireworks companies from around the world have joined the contest to create wonderful shows that keep reaching a new pinnacle of excellence for audience’s enjoyment, according to the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
