The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has launched a promotional video featuring South Korean actor Ahn Bo-hyun, titled “A Dynamic Macao Trip with Ahn Bo-hyun”, portraying Macau as a fascinating destination with diverse experiences to offer.
Through warm, natural storytelling from a “boyfriend’s angle”, the video presents the colourful experiences Macau has to offer, from cultural tapestry and culinary delights to tranquil nature, spectacular events and distinctive communities for in-depth exploration, with audiences led to explore the kaleidoscope of “tourism +” from perspectives woven with everyday life.
The project marks Ahn’s first visit to Macau and his debut in the city’s promotion, according to MGTO.
In the video, the star enjoys a stroll along the Hac Sá Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail in Coloane, followed by a walk at the Taipa Houses and tasting of the authentic Macanese cuisine – an enchanting encounter with the SAR’s dining scene and its glamour as a cultural crossroads between the East and West. He also rides the shuttle of the “Tourism and Leisure Buses”, setting off from the Ruins of St. Paul’s to explore hidden gems in local communities.
At night, he beholds the dazzling fireworks of the 34th Macao International Fireworks Display Contest up close (pictured), immersed in the romantic atmosphere and splendor of the event. The video is available on MGTO’s official YouTube channel.
