The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will hold its annual Christmas Market at Tap Seac Square from 16 December to 1 January, the bureau has announced

The market will feature 24 stalls – 12 of them selling Christmas gifts and the other 12 offering festive food – as well as fun activities like merry-go-round and inflatable slide. In addition, there will be handicrafts and souvenirs available for purchase.

Moreover, the 12 food stalls will sell snacks like crepes, egg waffles, skewers and apple pies, among others.

Besides large Christmas trees, lighting decorations and manger for visitors to take photos, roving performances like Santa Claus, clowns twisting balloons, magic shows and bubble masters are also arranged at the venue to infuse a jubilant atmosphere to the Christmas Market, according to IAM.

This year’s Christmas Market will open from 2 pm to midnight on 24, 25 and 31 December, as well as from 2 pm to 11 pm on the other days. The merry-go-round, inflatable slides and other play facilities will be free of charge and will operate from 3 pm to 10 pm daily. For more information visit IAM’s website. – GNM
