Macau’s well-known light art event “Light Up Macao 2025” will kick off today, set to dazzle the city’s Nam Van District, Northern District and ZAPE District with a total of 28 installation sets from 6 pm to 10 pm daily from this evening to 11 January with an immersive feast of light artistry at night.
Organised by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the event – themed “Lightscape•Horizon” this year – is expected to “spark an impetus for community tourism and nighttime economy, enriching what the city has to offer as a world centre of tourism and leisure”, according to MGTO.
