The Creative Macau gallery is holding an exhibition titled “Human–Machine Co-Creation: Artistic Research by University of Macau Art & Design Professors and Doctoral Students”.

The gallery is located in the Macau Cultural Centre (CCM) complex in Nape.

The essence of artistic creativity resides in its capacity to reflect the socio-cultural and technological context of its time, articulate the individuality of the artist, and convey profound spiritual dimensions. In the contemporary era characterised by digital media and artificial intelligence (AI), a defining paradigm is the concept of “human–machine co-creation”, according to the exhibition’s information page in Creative Macau’s website.

Curated by Lampo Leong from the University of Macau Centre for Arts and Design, the exhibition features various participating artists that comprise Xun Chi, Mengyao Guo, Lampo Leong, Fan Li, Zhenhao Ou, Xipei Ren, Atticus Sims, Ouresis Todorovich, Xiaofeng Wang, Xiaoqian Wang, Yanren Wang, Haozheng Wu, Michael Whittle, Xinxin Xiu, Siyi Xu, Yan Zhang, Yanxiu Zhao and Hongtao Zhou.

The exhibition runs through 27 December. Admission is free. The gallery is open from 2 pm to 7 pm, Monday to Saturday. For more information visit the gallery’s website or Facebook page. – GNM
