The nine-day Spring Festival Golden Week has concluded in Mainland China and preliminary statistics indicate that the SAR registered 1.554 million visitor arrivals in total during the Golden Week from 15 to 23 February, with average daily visitor arrivals topped 173,000, a 5.5-per cent increase compared to last year, which exceeded the pre-Covid level of the Spring Festival Golden Week.
Average daily visitor arrivals during the Spring Festival Golden Week in 2019 stood at 171,702.
In addition, this year’s average daily visitor arrivals during the Spring Festival Golden Week will become the highest daily average since Spring Festival holiday statistics existed, according to the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO). More details can be found via this link. – GNM
