A delegation from UN Tourism, led by Antonio López de Ávila, director of Innovation, Education and Investments at UN Tourism, recently visited the Macao University of Tourism (UTM).
The delegation was received by UTM Rector Fanny Von Chuk Kwan, Vice Rector Connie Loi Kim Ieng and representatives from the local university’s relevant academic units, according to UTM.
During the UN Tourism delegation’s visit, which took place on 25 February, the two sides discussed innovation in tourism education and the cultivation of international talent, as well as held in-depth exchanges on further extending their co-branded programmes to the Guangdong–Macau In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
López de Ávila also toured UTM’s teaching facilities and reviewed its academic achievements, congratulating the university on its development accomplishments. Details on this visit can be found via this link.
