Beneficiaries of the Social Security Fund’s (FSS) old-age and disability pensions are required to complete the annual proof of life procedure, according to a press release issued by the office.
For 2026, this requirement covers approximately 177,000 individuals, of whom about 14,000 have not yet completed the process, according to FSS.
Beneficiaries can complete the procedure conveniently through electronic channels such as the “Macao One Account” platform. Beneficiaries who fail to complete the Proof of Life procedure by the end of March will have their payments suspended as of April.
More details from the press release can be found via this link. For more information about other methods to complete the procedures, including for those who cannot visit service points or use electronic methods, visit www.fss.gov.mo. – GNM
