The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) and the city’s animal protection associations will organise one session of “Pet Preparatory Class—Pet Information Station” every month in different communities from this month until December to provide rabies vaccination for dogs and animal adoption enquiry services, with this month’s activity to be held today at Praça dos Lótus in Bairro da Ilha Verde, according to the bureau.
The activity is open to the public for free.
Exhibition on information about animal protection, interactive game booths and booths for animal origami and drawing are also set up on site to promote the messages of animal protection such as adoption instead of purchase and fulfilling pet owners’ obligations, among others.
