The dog park in Avenida da Ponte da Amizade is currently undergoing some renovation works as multiple facilities in the dog park were already aging after many years of use, according to the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM).
The project began on Thursday and is expected to last for around 90 working days.
The improvement works include enlarging the dog park, changing the play facilities for dogs, as well as installing dog washing tubs and shading facilities.
During this project, the public can use the dog park in Estrada do Reservatório instead, which is open from 7 am to 12 noon daily. For more information contact IAM’s Civic Service Hotline at 2833 7676.
