The 31st Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (31st MIF) is set to be held at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo from 21-24 October, featuring four core exhibition zones and a number of specialised pavilions, including the newly established “Spanish-Speaking Countries Industry Pavilion”, which will bring together exhibitors from eleven Spanish-speaking countries, according to the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM).

Organised by IPIM, the event will be held concurrently with the 2026 Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (2026PLPEX) and the Macao Franchise Expo 2026 (2026MFE) at the same venue.

The theme “Macao: The Global Hub of Business Convergence” will run across all three exhibitions for the first time, to generate more tangible results and open up development opportunities for domestic and international exhibitors, according to IPIM.

Meanwhile, the “Spanish-Speaking Countries Industry Pavilion” is expected to enhance Macau’s role as a platform between China and the Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking countries, as well as create a gateway to business opportunities in overseas markets, including the Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking countries and ASEAN nations, while supporting enterprises in their global expansion.

Covering a total exhibition area of 16,000 square metres, this year’s MIF will focus on industrial development and regional co-operation, with the four core exhibition zones being “Technology and Creativity Zone”, “Big Health and Modern Lifestyle Zone”, “Economic & Trade Investment and Industrial Co-operation Zone”, as well as “Macao Business Exhibition Zone”.
