The Humarish Club at Lisboeta Macau’s H853 Fun Factory Shop is currently showcasing 35 paintings and drawings by Japanese contemporary artist Ogihara Fuka in an exhibition titled “Life is but a Dream” – the artist’s first solo exhibition in Macau. Fuka’s work combines Southern Dynasty Song paintings with modern girls, which symbolizes “fusion” – Little fairy-looking girls represent a bridge connecting the present and the past, according to the organisers. Born in Tokyo in 1997, the artist, a graduate of Kyoto City University of Arts, is currently studying a master’s degree at China Academy of Fine Art in Hangzhou. The exhibition is open from noon to 8 pm, Monday to Sunday, through 25 April. Admission is free. For more information visit www.humarish.com.
