The University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Arts and Humanities recently held the Macao Humanities Forum, during which Portuguese Education Minister João Costa, who is also chair professor of linguistics at NOVA University Lisbon, delivered a video conference lecture titled “Arts and Humanities Education in the 21st Century – The Portugal Experience”. He said humanities education must have factors of inclusiveness and equity considering students nowadays come from diverse backgrounds.
