The University of Macau (UM) recently inaugurated the Macao Centre for Research and Development in Advanced Materials. The centre has been established with funding from Macau’s Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT), with three research directions – new energy, environmental protection and healthcare materials. The centre aims to promote the development of the advanced material industry in Macau and enhance productivity in scientific research and technology in the city and across the country.
