MACAU COULD BE CONNECTED TO DONG’AO AND ZHUHAI’S OTHER ‘HOLIDAY’ ISLANDS AS SOON AS THIS MONTH

Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes said recently Macau could soon be connected to some of Zhuhai’s islands, such as Dong’ao and Jiuzhou – popular getaways among holidaymakers from the surrounding region – by ferry services, reportedly scheduled be launched as early this month, according to several local media reports.

Meanwhile, ferry services between Taipa Ferry Terminal and Guishan Island in Zhuhai start today, the Marine and Water Bureau has announced. The route is served with two round-trip services every Saturday and Sunday.
