The 31st Macao International Fireworks Display Contest will be held from 9 September to 7 October, with fireworks companies from 10 countries scheduled to bring their spectacular shows to town. Organised by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the annual event will be held for the first time since Covid-19 pandemic suspended it in 2020. The 10 countries to present their fireworks show are Australia, Switzerland, Austria, Russia, the Philippines, Japan, China, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Germany, according to MGTO.
