The Macanese diaspora meeting-cum-reunion, Encontro, was last held in 2019 and the event – held triennially in Macau – was suspended last year due to Covid-19 pandemic. The Encontro’s organisers have recently confirmed the next event will be held from 30 November to 6 November next year, according to several local media reports.
