In celebration of the 70th anniversary of Macau Grand Prix, the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) is launching a series of activities at the Macao Grand Prix Museum ahead next month’s 70th Macau Grand Prix, including a five-minute mapping show entitled “Macao Grand Prix Museum Chronicles: 70 Legendary Years” on the museum’s exterior wall every night from 1-30 November – every 15 minutes between 7 and 10 pm.
From 1 November onwards, the museum will also play a short video (about 4-5 minutes) at its Screening Room, entitled “70 Legendary Years of Macau Grand Prix”, which captures the Macau GP’s remarkable and memorable moments throughout the years, including Guia Circuit’s transformation and the famous racers who have participated in the event.
In addition, a new 360-degree virtual reality experience that replays last year’s Macau Touring Car Cup – China Touring Car Championship will be launched, while the “Oracle Red Bull Racing” Special Exhibition kicked off at the museum’s basement on 27 October and will run through 19 November.
Moreover, the museum’s opening hours on the six race days of this year’s 70th Macau Grand Prix – 11, 12, 16, 17, 18 and 19 November – will be extended until 9:30 pm, with two additional sessions of public guided tour services and two extra movie screenings, while special discounts will also be made available.
