Over 500 people were injured after two subway trains collided in Beijing on Thursday evening – heavy snowfall in the Chinese capital, leading to slippery tracks, was blamed for the Changping subway line accident. Among those hospitalised, 102 suffered broken bones, authorities said yesterday. No deaths were reported, according to various media reports.
