The concert “After the Romance”, one of the Macao Orchestra 2023-24 Season concerts, will take place at the Macao Cultural Centre’s (CCM) Grand Auditorium on 22 March, featuring Israeli conductor Yoel Levi and Japanese-American violinist Mayumi Kanagawa.
Co-organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), Macao Orchestra Company, Limited and the city’s six integrated resorts with the support of Bank of China Macau Branch, the concert will present works by 20th-century composers Sergei Rachmaninoff and Samuel Barber – Rachmaninoff’s “Symphony No. 2” as well as Barber’s Overture to “The School of Scandal” and Violin Concerto.
