The Rui Cunha Foundation (FRC) launched on Thursday a collective art exhibition, entitled “Twelve Glowing Years”, in celebration of the non-profit foundation’s 12th anniversary.
The FRC was established on 28 April 2012 with the mission to support and propel Macau’s cultural and creative production, according to the foundation. Up until today, it has planned and executed more than 1,600 events across various areas, providing a platform for cultural exchange and educational enrichment.
In this celebratory exhibition, over 50 artists were invited to exhibit their work of art at the FRC Gallery in the city centre – featuring various art genres and materials that include painting, calligraphy, seal engraving, sculpture, photography, mixed media and new artistic media.
Themed “Free and Inclusive of All Styles”, the exhibition is seen as a “consecration of a complete 12-year cycle” filled with activities that have cheered the territory’s multiculturalism, according to FRC.
