Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s Melco Style successfully presented its music festival, WAVEFest, at the Studio City Water Park Event Garden on 22 and 29 June, with Hong Kong pop star Hins Cheung highlighting the final event on Saturday, which attracted over a thousand partygoers, according to a Melco press release.
The second WAVEFest kicked off with Macau’s indie band Daze in White, before fellow local artist Fida taking the stage to perform their lyrical rock ballads. Hong Kong-Singaporean Cantopop diva Vincy Chan then captivated the audience with her hit songs.
In addition, new girl pop group VIVA took the stage for the first time to show off the results of their intense training in Korea. Other artists included Dark Wong and rock band ToNick, before Cheung delivered a finale performing his hit classics.
The Studio City Water Park offers water recreational facilities 365 days a year with both indoor and outdoor areas, with the water temperature set to 30 degrees Celsius year-round. It is one of the very few all-weather, year-round indoor water parks in Asia.
