The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has launched the new cultural tourism product “Strolling through the World Heritage Sites – Postcard Collection of the Historic Centre of Macao”, presenting the unique charm of the Historic Centre of Macau with beautiful watercolours.

The Historic Centre of Macau was inscribed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2005, making it the city’s important cultural heritage and tourism resource being a testimony of the over-400-year cultural exchanges between China and the West.

Among the city’s places of interest featured in the postcard collection are the A-Ma Temple, Ruins of St. Paul’s, Guia Lighthouse and the Mandarin’s House, with the watercolour paintings featured in the collection created by renowned local painter and cartoonist Chan Iu Pui, who is also an advisor to the Macau Artist Society.

The collection comprises 10 postcards and is priced at MOP 30 – available for purchase at the Public Information Centre, Macao Museum, Macao Museum of Art, Archives of Macao, Macao Cultural Plaza, Portuguese Bookstore and other IC sales points. For more information visit IC’s website or contact 8399 6220.
