Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng has sent a letter of condolence to the family of the recently-deceased Lui Che Woo, founder and chairman of Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), expressing his “deepest sadness” at Lui’s passing, according to a press release issued by the Government Information Bureau (GCS).
“The establishment of ‘Lui Che Woo Prize – Prize for World Civilisation’ underscored Dr Lui’s steadfast belief in the spirit of universal love,” Ho said in the press release.
