Macau will host the Specialised World Stamp Exhibition in Macau in 2026, according to the Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT).

Jointly organised by CTT and the Macao Philatelic Association under the patronage of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie with the sponsor of Federation Inter-Asian Philately, the event, one of the world’s major philatelic events, will be held at The Venetian Macao from 26 June to 1 July 2026, featuring 1,500 frames and about 50 booths.

The “Macao 2026 Specialised World Stamp Exhibition” agreement signing ceremony was held in Shanghai yesterday, officially marking the beginning of the high-level exhibition’s preparation stage.

The agreement was signed during the “China 2024 Asian International Stamp Exhibition” by CTT Director Lau Wai Meng, who led a team to the stamp exhibition in Shanghai, Macao Philatelic Association President Huo Huixiao and Fédération Internationale de Philatélie consultant Abdulla M. T. Khoory.

Lau said in her speech that, following the success of the “Macao 2018 – 35th Asian International Stamp Exhibition”, it is now of great significance that a specialised world stamp exhibition will take place in the SAR for the first time.

The CTT Director hopes that the upcoming exhibition will serve as an opportunity to build a bridge of friendship between different regions, strengthen international philatelic exchanges and cooperation, as well as promote the legacy and innovation of world philatelic culture.

Postal administrations, stamp dealers, philatelic experts and philatelic enthusiasts from different countries and regions around the world will participate in the exhibition to showcase their collections and compete for various philatelic awards, according to CTT.

During the exhibition, a wide range of philatelic activities will be organised and visitors will be able to explore the world of stamps as well as experience Macau’s rich philatelic culture and vitality.
