The average rent for residential units in Macau grew by 3.9 per cent to MOP 137 last year, according to data from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC).
Meanwhile, the average rent per square metre of usable area for shops was MOP 479 in 2024, a decrease of 1.1 per cent year-on-year, while the average rents for office units (MOP 293) and industrial units (MOP 123) fell by 2.8 per cent and 0.1 per cent, respectively, year-on-year.
