The University of Macau’s (UM) Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College (HFPJC) and Xi’an Jiaotong University’s Nanyang College have recently become sister colleges, according to a UM press release.
The sister-college relationship’s establishment was officiated by the recent signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two universities, which took place during a Nanyang College delegation’s visit to UM.
According to UM, HFPJC is committed to developing an integrated experiential learning approach that integrates learning, practice and service into college activities to cultivate students’ innovative thinking and develop their seven competencies through experiential learning.
Meanwhile, Nanyang College focuses on nurturing students’ aspirations and beliefs, sense of social responsibility, global mindset, leadership skills and noble character.
