The University of Macau (UM) will launch Master of Design (MDES) in Visual Communication Design and Doctor of Design (DDES) in Visual Communication Design programmes in the 2025/2026 academic year, with the university now accepting applications for both programmes until 31 May.
The new programmes aim to cultivate creative talent in visual communication design with theoretical expertise as well as foster the development of Macau’s arts and design industry, while also contributing to the city’s economic diversification, according to UM.
The MDES in Visual Communication Design is a two-year programme while the Doctoral programme comprises four years of study. For more information visit UM Graduate School’s website. – GNM
