Travel agencies associations leaders and representatives from 15 countries attended European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations (ECTAA) 2025 Macao Summit that was held at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort in Cotai from 2-5 June.
The event provided the leaders of travel agencies associations from across Europe a full experience of the city’s “tourism +” appeal and unique advantages as an international platform.
The event also helped expand and diversify international source markets, according to the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
Meanwhile, the around 40 delegates also toured around Macau and the neighbouring Hengqin during the event.
Co-hosted by SJM Resorts, the ECTAA 2025 Macao Summit is one of the two major European tourism meetings MGTO is hosting this year, together with the 50th Congress of APAVT, which is expected to gather around 700 delegates in Macau on 2-4 December. – GNM
