8TH BELT AND ROAD SUMMIT TO KICK OFF IN HONG KONG ON 13 SEPTEMBER

OVER 400 STUDENTS RECEIVE UM SCHOLARSHIPS 

The 8th Belt and Road Summit is set to take place in Hong Kong from 13-14 September, with over 90 government officials and business leaders from the Belt and Road countries and regions, as well as project owners, investors and service providers from across the world, scheduled to attend the event that will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The summit is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee will deliver his welcome remarks, while Guo Tingting, vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, will give a special address. In addition, Special Staff to the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Rizal Affandi Lukman, will be a keynote speaker.
