The University of Macau (UM) recently held its Scholarship Presentation Ceremony 2025, during which some 430 students received the scholarships and academic prizes, totalling around MOP 4.3 million, for their outstanding performances, the university has announced.
The donations were from over 50 institutions and individuals.
During the ceremony, UM Vice Rector Mok Kai Meng thanked the donors for the scholarships and academic prizes.
Meanwhile, UM provided over 70 scholarships and academic prizes in the 2024/2025 academic year. Throughout the year, UM received donations totalling over MOP 4.7 million from more than 50 institutions and individuals, benefiting over 470 students. Some of the academic prizes were presented at the Academic Prize Presentation Ceremony held earlier this year. – GNM
