Macau’s delegate in Miss International 2025, Katrina Wan, has won the pageant’s Miss International Asia Pacific award despite not placing in the top 20.
The 26-year-old local model (pictured) holds a master’s degree in law and is an advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals.
“It all starts with Education (SDG 4). Knowledge empowers us to make conscious choices for Responsible Consumption (SDG 12). And every sustainable choice we make on land is a vote to protect our blue planet and all Life Below Water (SDG 14),” Wan wrote on her Instagram post.
“Our daily actions create waves of change. Let’s be the generation that champions this connection,” she said.
She is also an avid dancer and, as shown in the Miss Universe 2025’s victory party, singer.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old US-born Colombian model Catalina Duque Abréu was declared Miss Universe 2025 during the grand final event held Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday, making her the fourth Colombian delegate to win the title, while Zimbabwe’s Yollanda Chimbarami and Bolivia’s Paola Guzman came second and third, respectively.
In addition, Indonesian Melliza Xaviera Yulian and Filipino Myrna Esguerra finished third and fourth runner-up, respectively. (Gilbert Humphrey)
