Macau SAR Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai met with the Minister and Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group of the National Health Commission (NHC), Lei Haichao, at the Macau Government Headquarters recently, during which the two exchanged views on further deepening healthcare cooperation, promoting Big Health industry’s development, as well as cultivating well-rounded talent, according to the Government Information Bureau (GCS).
The chief executive welcomed Lei and his delegation on their visit to Macau for the 20th Joint Meeting of Senior Health Officials of Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau.
During the meeting, Sam also expressed gratitude to the NHC for its long-standing support for Macau’s development of healthcare, adding that the local government looked forward to continuing comprehensive cooperation with the NHC, with a view to optimising the SAR’s healthcare system and strengthening joint prevention and control of infectious diseases. – GNM
