Macau SAR Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai (pictured, right) met the newly-appointed Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Macau SAR, Bian Lixin (left), at the Macau Government’s Headquarters on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the two exchanged views on external affairs of the Macau SAR as well as the successful implementation of the “One country, two systems” principle, according to the Government Information Bureau (GCS).
The new commissioner arrived in Macau at the end of January to take up her new post, succeeding Liu Xianfa, who has completed his term of office. Liu has since been appointed the nation’s Special Representative on African Affairs. – GNM
