Macau’s visitor arrivals last month increased by 3.4 per cent year-on-year to 3,487,994, according to the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC).
Out of those visitors, the number of those coming from mainland China increased by 4.2 per cent year-on-year to 2,541,802, with those travelling under the Individual Visit Scheme (1,377,014) rising by 5.2 per cent.
Visitors from the Taiwan region (93,701) rose by 18.9 per cent year-on-year, while those from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (618,341) dropped by 0.4 per cent.
