Macau’s air traffic and passengers have been increasing since borders reopened early this year, with Macau International Airport recording more than 750,000 passengers in the first quarter of this year, which was a year-on-year increase of 170 percent. Meanwhile, the local airport also recorded some 6,900 flights in the same quarter, representing a 57-percent increase year-on-year, according to several local media reports.
