The revamped Lai Chi Vun Shipyards area in Coloane is opening today, with the launch ceremony of the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards – Plots X11-X15 scheduled to be held at 6:30 pm tonight. Lai Chi Vun’s revitalisation project aims to create a space for cultural and recreational activities dedicated to the theme of Macau’s bygone shipbuilding industry. The revamped shipyards will feature a thematic exhibition, market, workshops, as well as live performances by local buskers.
