Macau has registered more than 11.6 million visitor arrivals from January to June 2023, with daily average of visitors topping 64,000, nearly 60 per cent the pre-pandemic figure of 2019. From this year’s total figure, international visitor arrivals in the first six months reached around 475,000 or about 31.2 per cent of the 2019 figure, according to Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
