Around 180 Macau athletes are scheduled to compete in 21 categories of the 2023 Asian Games, which will take place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province from 23 September to 8 October, according to various local media reports. The last Asiad was held in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. The 19th Asiad was scheduled to take place last year but was postponed to this year due to Covid-19.
