One Central Macau is currently showcasing Pablo Picasso’s “Paintings in Glass” in its ground-floor atrium. The mall is operated under a joint venture between Hong Kong Land, the exhibition’s sponsor, and Shun Tak Holdings Limited. The exhibition is part of Macau’s ongoing Art Macao. The six artworks in this showcase are among 50 unique and signed works selected by Picasso himself between 1954 and 1957 to be interpreted in gemmail (French for “enamel gem”). The art show, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of the artist’s passing, will run until 31 October. For more information visit One Central Mall’s website
