Israel has made its first official visit to Saudi Arabia, with a five-member Israeli delegation attending a UNESCO meeting in Riyadh recently. An unnamed Israeli official told AFP on the sidelines of the meeting that the visit was “a good first step”, while thanking the UNESCO and Saudi authorities. The five delegates reportedly received their Saudi visas through UNESCO, according to a report by The Jakarta Post.
