More foreign visitors have been denied entry into Vietnam due to invalid documents, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), with the first two months of this year alone seeing a total of 217 foreign visitors denied entry into the Southeast Asian nation. Last year, a total of 886 foreign visitors were turned away throughout the year. In 2022, only 404 foreign visitors were denied entry, according to a report by Malaysia’s The Star.
