The “1st Asia Sports Collectors Convention (ASCC) Macau 2023” will be held at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo from 8-10 December. Global collectors, enthusiasts and industry leaders are expected to attend the first-ever trading sports card convention in Asia, which will “redefine how people think about collective cards and ignite their passion” in collecting cards, according to the event’s Facebook page.
Also known as collectible cards, the trading cards are small cards made of thick paper that usually contain an image of a real or fictional person, place or something, complete with brief description or information of the picture. Traditionally associated with sports, like the baseball cards, the trading cards nowadays include cartoon characters, TV series and others.
