The Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) Lounge in Terminal 1 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila officially opened on Friday, while another one located in Terminal 3 is scheduled to open in January 2024, according to various media reports. The OWF Lounge is equipped with several amenities specifically catered for the OFWs, including comfortable seating, Wi-Fi access, charging docks, power outlets and other services designed to make their visits more relaxing, according to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA). “All of these services will be able to provide VIP services to the Philippines’ modern-day heroes [OFWs],” says OWWA, who also plans to launch more OFW Lounges in other airports across the Philippines.
