Saudi Arabia has recently announced a reduction in the fees for recruiting domestic workers from Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Uganda. For the Philippines, for example, the fee has been cut from SR15,900 to SR14,700, according to a report by Gulf News. (Wong Kin Ang)
