A 31-year-old Iranian-American model and nurse named Fay Asghari has been crowned the 1st Miss Universe Persia, making history as the first contestant to ever represent Iran in the Miss Universe pageant.
Asghari is legally still a sister-in-law of US singer Britney Spears, who was married to the first’s brother, Hesam “Sam” Asghari, in 2022 and they separated last year – the couple reached a divorce settlement in May this year and will be divorced in December, according to various media reports.
Meanwhile, Asghari defeated 19 other contestants and will compete at the 73rd Miss Universe in Mexico later this year.
