Macau’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 80.5 per cent year-on-year in real terms in 2023, attributed to the gradual resumption of local economic activity and exports of services, according to data from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC). The figure also marks a return to over 80 per cent of the pre-pandemic level in 2019. Meanwhile, last year’s per-capita GDP stood at MOP 559,495.
