Antonio Ramos da Silva officially began his tenure as the new Delegate of Timor-Leste to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – otherwise known simply as Forum Macao – yesterday. 

Silva replaced his predecessor Danilo Lemos Henriques, who served as Timor-Leste’s delegate from 2014 to 2023. Henriques is now Forum Macau’s Deputy Secretary General, replacing São Tomé and Príncipe diplomat Paulo Espírito Santo.
